...but I suppose if you aren’t getting much. Spotted at the grocery store on Saturday.
Actually in the first spot, closest to the door. Respect, Merc owner, respect.

I took the 348 to costco this weekend! I fit two cases of Pellegrino in the frunk. It’s the perfect grocery
getter hahah

Shit, I need to go to Costco to get Pellegrino. Meant to do that today. Wait, hold up, 2 cases fit?!

My parents former neighbor bought an F430, the next day it came back to the house, he popped the frunk and took out his walmart groceries.

Marianos confirmed & nope, not sad at all. To be honest, I’m surprised I don’t see more exotics
at this Marianos. I see plenty of super nice cars, but these are the first exotics
.

I mean, I support it 100%, just not typical to see. Better to be used however they see fit than to be garage queens if you ask me. Though the Merc, to me, is less surprising. than the Ferrari.

Yup! The sale on the 15 pack of glass bottles ended Sunday so I had to stock up. I think they have 24 pack of plastic bottles on sale now. I took a picture on snap but forgot to save it. The cases fit side by side no problem, and they was enough height for a bag if you needed. So the bottles were 6 wide, 5 deep, basically.

Those really aren’t good for anything, except maybe pulling up to a fancy restaurant (even then you might get trumped).
They don’t work at the track since they are too expensive/nice to risk driving hard (and really even when price is no object there are better, more capable options for a track focused car).
They suck in the daily commute, won’t work for picking up more than one kid (and even that is a novelty), and you’ll worry about parking them anywhere.
These are cars that drive around for an hour or less and return home without going anywhere or doing anything. They are just art, pretty but without purpose or practical function.
I’ll take them over paintings any day .

Nice. Seems like a perfect fit!

I call them point A to A cars. Go out when the weather is nice, enjoy fun roads for a few hours, and return home. Sometimes with a pit-stop at a coffee shop or something. Then, any shopping is mostly a novelty in the car, unless you are out and about and remember you need something, which happened to me Sunday haha

Actually you touched on one thing I didn’t mention, I applaud the Merc owner for parking in, literally, the first spot in the lost, closest to the door.

Tell that to my GT customers that track and daily them. Which is probably at least half.

We always go for the glass bottles, I won’t tell my wife we missed the sale though...

I remembered it was the last day while I was out for a drive. I think they were $4.50 off, so not the end of the world. Just ignore this whole conversation ololol

That’s a pretty good deal, but either way I’m saving money compared to the grocery store, so we’ll just pretend this convo didn’t happen.

There are lots of ways to go faster cheaper: https://showroom.windingroad.com/listings/product/3823/
Radical (there are coupe versions as well) + trailer and tow vehicle and you are still half the cost of the GT (I’d just store at the track if I were at that price bracket). It ’ll make the GT or the Ferrari look slow and it will put down more trouble free sessions before needing maintenance or repairs, which will also be far cheaper than the paintings’ upkeep .
Hell, those cars are only Corvette fast. You could build a C6 Z06 track monster and shoot for records at half the cost of an AMG GT.
The only cars like those I regularly see at the track are in the parking lot, not in the grid. Guys drive up in the Macca, Fezza, Lambo, or Merc then walk over to the garage where their track car is stored and rip some laps in a Lotus, Atom, or Spec Boxster (or winged beast of choice).
You probably don’t want me talking to your customers, you’d lose too much business.

Not exactly the same, but I used to go to Costco in my NSX all the damn time. It was a fun game while it lasted.

That trunk is a back breaker. The reach is like two feet from your standing location.

Luckily I do crossfit ;)
But seriously, it is a very long distance you have to span, then it’s really deep. And a case of glass bottles is heavy. I think I hung it over with one hand and let the corner rest of the floor. That made it so I didn’t have to bend all the way over. My arms aren’t long or big enough to do this on a regular basis haha

I did this with my F355 and I do it with my 4C as well.
But with the 4C, t here’s only a rear trunk and it can get warm . Foods that need to stay cold go on the passenger seat.

These guys don't care about money and usually have other cars too. The general consensus is that they all love their GT's so that's what they drive

Fair enough, I can get behind that kind of automotive irrationality.
